JFE Shoji Trade Union held a cherry blossom viewing event!

The Tokyo Branch of the JFE Shoji Trade Union held a cherry blossom viewing event at Sarue Onshi Park on March 30, where about 70 employees and their families gathered. The day was blessed with warm weather, with a maximum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius, which is hard to believe in March.

The event started with a greeting by Mr. Shimokawatoko, a member of the Tokyo Section Executive Committee, followed by hors d'oeuvres and pizza, which gave the participants an opportunity to interact with employees who usually have few chances to talk with each other, including senior and junior employees and those who crossed the boundaries between different departments. In the middle of the event, a bingo game was held, with room fragrance, hand wash, and other useful items for daily life as prizes, and the audience cheered each time a winner was chosen. For children, ring toss, soap bubbles, balls, etc. were also prepared, and they had a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed, but the event was a great opportunity for employees to bond with each other, and the atmosphere was friendly from start to finish. Employees and family members who participated in the event commented, "It was fun to participate in an event with such a large number of people, including Corona, for the first time in a long time! It made me realize once again how open the company is." I was able to feel again how open the company is." "Although it was the first time for me to talk to all the participants, they were all very friendly and I was able to get to know them very quickly. I am glad that the children were able to have fun because there were plans for them to have fun too. The event was a great success.
