On February 23, a bowling tournament organized by the company's labor union was held at JFE Shoji's Konan Steel Center. The event was held at Kobe Rokko Bowl to promote communication among employees, and 40 people, including employees and their families, participated.
On the day of the event, participants were divided into 10 teams of 4 players each and played 2 games, competing for a total score of 1 to win prizes such as Apple Watches, tablets, gift certificates, and other luxury items. The winner of the prize was announced after everyone had drawn their lots, and the audience was filled with a sense of tension and excitement. At the reception that followed, new employees introduced themselves and were able to communicate with veteran employees and managers across the boundaries of age and department, deepening interactions among employees.
Although this was the first time in about nine years that this activity was held, many employees expressed their desire to make this a regular activity to deepen interactions among employees.
