From September 16 to 27, 2023, JFE Shoji Steel Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (President: Zen Naruse, hereafter "JSSM"), a JFE Shoji Group company, conducted "JSSM Health Week 2023". This event aims to make employees "safer, healthier, and more comfortable in their company life.

During the program, Zumba exercises were performed before work, and a healthy menu was served at the company cafeteria for lunch, providing employees with an opportunity to review their daily eating habits. Other events included health checkups, blood donations, and "Recycle Day," a day for employees to recycle unused items they brought in. In addition, President Naruse gave a tennis lesson on September 22 and a badminton tournament was held as part of the program on September 26, with about 30 employees participating and working up a sweat. These sporting events not only helped employees maintain their health, but also provided an opportunity to communicate and deepen exchanges.

JSSM is committed to the health of its employees, and in addition to Health Week, the company also holds BMI Challenges throughout the year. The top five employees who have made significant improvements in their BMI will receive awards at the end of the year.

By taking care of their health, JSSM aims not only to reduce medical costs, but also to improve employees' lifestyles, increase their motivation, and reduce stress, thereby improving not only their current health, but also their future health. JSSM will continue to put the health of its employees first in all of its activities.
