JFE Shoji Steel Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a JFE Shoji Group company, held an in-house competition for safety and health posters and slogans for the year 2024, and produced a desktop calendar with the 12 selected works.

This project was planned by Mr. AMER, in charge of safety and health, with the aim of spreading awareness of safety and health among employees and encouraging their active participation in activities. From the 18 entries submitted, the 12 works to be used in the calendar were selected through a competition held during the "Annual Dinner Party" held on October 14 last year. The front of the desktop calendar is a monthly calendar that can be written on, with Malaysian and Japanese holidays visible at a glance. The back of the calendar features posters and slogans, and the meanings of the slogans are also introduced. Approximately 300 copies of the calendar were distributed to suppliers.

Employees commented that the calendar was "very good for reaffirming health and safety activities" and "I hope you distribute it to your employees as well," thereby raising employee awareness of health and safety.

Awards were also presented to the top three winners of the competition on the last business day of December 2023!
