The Technical Management Department held the "12th Technical Report Meeting of Overseas Group Companies" online for two days from November 1. The purpose of this technical report meeting was to present the results of improvement activities in safety and health, quality, operation, facilities, cost, and other areas at each overseas group company, so that the information could be horizontally spread. On the day of the meeting, 15 overseas Group companies made presentations in the presence of President Kobayashi, five directors, and a managing executive officer.
　At the closing of the meeting, President Kobayashi commented, "It was very encouraging to see the steady spread of activities that use technology as a starting point. I believe that it is only because you are actually working that you were able to find the themes and devise them. The presentations were clear, concise, and easy to understand, the result of many hours of practice. This is a very important activity, and I have high expectations for it. I hope you will take on the challenge of a new theme tomorrow.
　The awards were presented to the companies that made excellent presentations, with the Kobayashi President's Award going to Zhejiang Kawaden Steel Sheet Processing Co. Central Metals (Thailand) Ltd. received the Technology Department Award.
