On September 13 and 14, the Technical Management Department held the 5th Overseas Plant Managers' Meeting at JFE Shoji Steel Hai Phong Co. The purpose of this meeting was to share and horizontally deploy information on improvement examples of each group company based on the "Factory Operation Standards" formulated by the department. It is also used as a forum for communication among plant managers of each Group company, and has been held once a year since 2017 at an overseas plant.

This year, JSHP introduced initiatives such as "making equipment intrinsically safe" and "measures to prevent the leakage of different materials. In group discussions, participants actively exchanged opinions on themes such as "activities to prevent recurrence of accidents," reaffirming the importance of simplifying rules and promoting communication. The factory tour was also a meaningful time for the participants, who actually observed examples of JSHP's improvements and factory management conditions, stopping to check the differences between JSHP and their own companies and to ask questions about technical innovations while observing the facilities up close.

The Technical Coordination Department will continue to plan and operate activities such as the "Overseas Factory Managers' Meeting" to support Grue companies in improving their factory management capabilities.
