On August 12, JFE Shoji Steel Philippines, Inc. (JSSP) held a Family Day, which was attended by 105 employees and their 224 family members.

On the day, everyone wore matching white T-shirts and gathered at the Multi Purpose Center at Laguna Technopark, where the company is located. After viewing a slideshow of past Family Days and reminiscing, participants watched a safety awareness video produced by JSSP and featuring JSSP employees. In addition, President Saito presented certificates, stationery, and other mementos to the children of employees who had successfully graduated from elementary, junior high, and high school through JSSP's educational subsidy program, one of the company's benefit programs. In addition to food from Jollibee, a national fast food of the Philippines, the children were delighted when Jollibee's mascot character appeared on stage, and they enjoyed dancing together to a dance popular on Tik Tok.

After the program was over, the children moved to JSSP for a plant tour and group photo. The families of the employees looked around the steel processing process as the employees explained it to them. After the tour, all participants enjoyed a visit to "Enchanted Kingdom," Japan's first full-scale amusement park in Laguna, where they had a birthday party for August birthdays and took pictures with the amusement park's characters.

As part of JSSP's efforts to engage employees and their families with the company, we are focusing on Family Day to foster a sense of togetherness. We will continue to plan events that give employees and their families a deeper understanding of the company.
