JSSP cooperates in the Green Slow Mobility Demonstration Experiment at Tsuchiura Otsuno Hills!
In July, a Green Slow Mobility experiment began at Tsuchiura Otsuno Hills, which was developed by JFE Shoji Trade's Real Estate Department. The experiment is being conducted by the Tsuchiura MaaS Promotion Council, which is run by the local government of the Tsuchiura region of Ibaraki Prefecture, Kanto Railway Company, and other local companies. The "Tsuchiura MaaS" project aims to secure and diversify means of transportation for citizens and promote tourist tours through the introduction of new means of transportation. As a part of this project, the Council will introduce AI Demand Bus (a reservation-based bus that uses AI to operate on an efficient route from the starting point to the destination without following a fixed route or timetable) and Green Slow Mobility (an EV bus that runs at a low speed in consideration of the environment and safety; scheduled to end on October 22) in Ohtsuno Hills by the end of February next year. The project will be conducted as a demonstration experiment to realize a society in which everyone can easily get around using Green Slow Mobility (EV buses that run at low speeds in consideration of the environment and safety; to be completed on October 22, 2012). We are cooperating in this experiment by providing a portion of our business site on the route that circles Tsuchiura Kyodo Hospital and other facilities in Ohtsuno Hills as a bus stop for Green Slow Mobility.
We will continue to contribute to the local community through such activities.
