On July 25, JFE Shoji Trade's Osaka Branch held its first Family Day at the branch office, which was attended by 12 employees and their families.
On the day, a welcome board for each family was placed at the reception desk, and Branch Manager Kitajima welcomed everyone to the Family Day. The first part, "J-SHO Junior Seminar," included an introduction to the company's work and a quiz game on steel. The program was also designed to give the participating children a closer look at their family's work. The program included crafts using tin cans manufactured by our suppliers, using a toy excavator modeled after a supplier's construction equipment manufacturer to take candy, and a ring toss with a can of "Nozaki's Corned Beef" from Kawasho Foods as the prize.

In the second part, after the greeting by Branch Manager Kitajima, participants experienced exchanging business cards in the reception room. During the office tour, a stamp rally was held to make the tour fun. The children were given stamp cards to collect stickers and interacted with the employees.

Children who participated in the tour said, "I really enjoyed my father's company! and "I want to go back to work with you tomorrow! and "I want to come back to work with you tomorrow!
Employees who participated in the event also commented, "The at-home atmosphere was very nice," and "I was happy that the children were so happy. I hope the event will be continued in the future.

We will continue to promote this kind of program to deepen employees' understanding of the workplace and to create a workplace atmosphere that is easy to work in and values family.
