On September 7, JFE Shoji Trade held the "JFE Shoji Group In-House Blood Donation" at the Shin-Otemachi Building.
This activity has been held twice a year since 2014 as a social contribution activity that employees can do close to home to save the lives of people in need of blood transfusions for treatment of illnesses and surgeries. On the day of the event, 40 people participated in the blood donation after blood pressure measurement, medical interview, hemoglobin concentration, and preliminary blood type test.

This time, the blood donation bus was parked on the street in front of the east entrance of the Shin-Otemachi Building. Not only employees of the Group, but also employees of other companies occupying the Shin-Otemachi Building and TOKIWA Bridge jumped in to join the blood drive. One of the participants said, "We are in the midst of a social contribution month within the company, and I just happened to find the blood donation bus on the Internet," and stopped by.

We are planning to hold another blood donation event at the Financial Building next February. With the cooperation of many employees, the JFE Shoji Group will continue to promote social contribution activities.
