Osaka Baseball Club participated in the 38th Goodwill Softball Tournament!
The Osaka Baseball Club participated in the "38th Friendship Softball Tournament" hosted by the Osaka Stainless Steel Distributors Association, as it did last year. The tournament was held at Hama-Koshien Athletic Park in Nishinomiya City, and a total of 27 teams, 12 in the first division and 15 in the second division, participated. 14 employees from J Shoji and J Tekken participated in the first game on May 20 as members, winning 8-1 over their opponent, ISS Realize. In the 3rd inning, Mr. Tahara of Osaka Stainless Steel's Special Steel Sheet Department hit a timely hit (first base) directly off the fence, which was the difference between victory and defeat, and the audience was very excited. This year, the team regrettably lost in the second round, but Mr. Omata, the captain of the team, said, "We will definitely win the championship next year! I'm going to practice hard for that!
