On June 8, 2023, 44 employees from 6 companies of the JFE Shoji Group participated in the "Chiyoda City Simultaneous Cleanup" activities promoted by Chiyoda City.
　The participants gathered at the Shin-Otemachi Building at 8:00 a.m. and started the cleanup activity after the opening speech by Mr. Takahashi, President of JFE Shoji Service Co. They picked up cigarette butts, empty cans, and other trash.
　After the cleanup, participants enjoyed coffee and juice at the Green Café on the 9th floor of the Shin-Otemachi Building and deepened exchanges with each other.
　Mr. Nakamura, Managing Executive Officer of JFE Shoji Trade, who participated in the cleanup for the first time, said, "For JFE Shoji Group employees who work in the Otemachi area, the area around the building is their 'front yard. It is the role of "residents" to clean up their "front yard" while being considerate of the trees and shrubs that are rooted in the area. We would like to continue our cleaning activities as a part of our contribution to the community and society," he said.
　The JFE Shoji Group will continue to promote social contribution activities as a unified group, including this cleanup and other educational activities related to environmental beautification.
