On April 3, JFE Shoji Trade held an initiation ceremony for fiscal year 2023 at its head office, welcoming a total of 59 new employees to the company!

At the ceremony, the new employees looked nervous but filled with anticipation. In his address to the new employees, President Kobayashi said, "Please value self-thinking and openness. Think for yourself" means to think about everything by yourself, speak in your own words, and act on your own. Openness" means to discuss honestly and frankly, and in the course of that discussion, to bounce ideas off each other, brush up on each other's ideas, and arrive at the best idea at that moment.
The new employees will be assigned to their respective departments over the next month or more, where they will learn business manners and a wide range of business-related knowledge.
