In October this year, JFE Shoji Trade Corporation, through JFE Shoji Trade America HD, acquired 100% of the shares of California Expanded Metal Products Co. The company changed its name to CEMCO, LLC, and has started under a new management structure led by new CEO Tom Porter.

On October 17 (local time), President Kobayashi visited CEMCO. In his address to the employees, he informed them of the history of the JFE Shoji Group's expansion into the U.S. market and that the Group considers the U.S. to be a very important market. For the further development of CEMCO, he asked for efforts toward the early integration of the two companies and increased awareness of the Group's basic policy of "safety and quality".

Tom Porter, new CEO of CEMCO, expressed his expectations for the future, saying, "I feel a common culture with JFE Shoji through this discussion, and I hope that you will help us to further develop CEMCO, and I look forward to the new stimulation that will come from being a part of JFE Shoji.
