Laguna Technopark Industrial Park, where JFE Shoji Steel Philippines, Inc. (JSSP) is located, is home to about 235 companies, including many Japanese companies, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. The LTAI (Laguna Technopark Association Inc.), a secretariat run by the industrial park, selects a board of directors every year, and JSSP President Saito was elected as a board member last year. The Board of Directors consists of seven members, elected by major Japanese companies and influential local companies.
　At the 31st Annual Membership Meeting held this past June, JSSP President Saito was unanimously elected as Chairman & President of the Board of Directors (Chairman & President) in recognition of his contributions from the previous year. Mr. Saito is the first JFE Shoji Group member to assume this position.
　JFE Shoji will continue its efforts to improve the industrial park by incorporating the opinions of the companies that have moved into the park and by developing its maintenance and support systems, as well as to enhance JFE Shoji's brand power and the motivation of JSSP's employees.
