As part of our company's club activities, the flower arrangement club held a "Small Flower Arrangement Exhibition" at the head office on July 20. The club planned and held this event in order to convey the appeal of ikebana to the public, despite the fact that the days of the club's activities are limited to only one practice per month due to the Corona disaster.
This time, we invited participants other than club members to experience the joy of ikebana for others. The participants, who were experiencing ikebana for the first time, were at a loss as they faced the flowers and wondered how to arrange them. The completed works were displayed on each table of the Maru Cafe, which is located in a corner of the office space, giving a gorgeous impression to the cafe.
Employees who viewed the works were impressed by the beauty of the ikebana, commenting, "I was healed by the beauty of ikebana," and "I felt it was a good experiment to display the works in the café.
