JFE Shoji Trade Corporation's Electric Power Equipment & Supplies Department received the "Excellent Procurement Partner Award" from Kyushu Electric Power Co. The award is given to suppliers that have made particular contributions to cost reductions, etc., and this is the second time that MHI has received the award, following last year. In the project to replace the conveyor belts at the thermal power plant, the company proposed and implemented mechanization of some processes in cooperation with Needs Engineering Co.
　The award-winning projects in the past have been spread to other electric power companies, leading to orders for other projects. We will continue to respond to the needs of each electric power company and work to capture demand in the future.
