J-Shosho Challenge Days" was held!

JFE Shoji Trade Corporation is simultaneously developing and promoting measures in the three areas of "culture development," "career development support for women," and "system development and work style" as the pillars of its diversity and inclusion promotion efforts.
As part of the measures to improve systems and work styles, we have been implementing "J-SHO Challenge Days" since FY2018, with the aim of "improving organizational and individual productivity and achieving work-life balance" throughout the company. The program was implemented as an opportunity for employees to renew their awareness of and practice a more balanced work style. Each department selected from a menu that included "communication time" for non-work-related conversations and "leaving (closing) time declaration" to raise awareness of efficient work execution, and implemented the program for about one month from November 2021.
The departments that implemented the "Communication Time" program reported that "by including small talk before meetings, an atmosphere conducive to discussion was fostered and meetings became more active," indicating a change in communication and working styles. We will continue to promote similar initiatives and encourage each employee to continue working flexibly.
