JFE Shoji Steel Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (JSSM) participated in the ALEPS Ekiden Half Marathon 2025 held at Shah Alam Independence Square on September 7.
This event was organized by the Alumni Association of Former Students of Eastern Policy (ALEPS) of Malaysia and started in 2024. 1,200 runners ran in this second edition of the event. JSSM participated in this event for the second time, with 28 employees from 7 teams competing.
JSSM felt that participation in the previous year's event strengthened the sense of trust and unity among team members, and decided to continue participating this year.

All teams competing in the half marathon achieved the goal within the time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes! The team consisting of Director Ishii, who arrived in June of this year, and three local staff members finished in 1 hour and 56 minutes, the fastest time within JSSM, and also placed 4th in the male senior category (40 years and older).
The team members enjoyed the experience of running with the team sash and strengthened their "relationship-tionships" with their fellow team members.
JSSM will continue to participate in future events with the aim of stimulating employee communication and strengthening teamwork.
