Osaka Branch of JFE Shoji Trade Union held a get-together on a "Yakatabune" (houseboat)

On August 26, the Osaka Branch of the JFE Shoji Trade Union held its first-ever get-together on a "houseboat" for the purpose of deepening friendship among the Osaka Branch employees. Forty-three employees enjoyed a friendly evening on a summer evening, feeling the breeze across the river.

The get-together started with a toast by Mr. Furukawa, the branch committee chairperson. On board the ship, while enjoying Japanese kaiseki cuisine, conversation transcended the boundaries between years and departments. The night view of Osaka from the water was exceptional, and the illuminated Osaka Castle was a beautiful sight for the participants.

Despite the midsummer heat, the unusual setting of the yakatabune allowed for natural conversation among members who normally do not have the opportunity to talk with each other, and it was an evening that further deepened the sense of unity within the branch.
