Steel Raw Materials Division held "Social Bowling Tournament"!

On June 20, the Iron & Steel Raw Materials Division held a "Social Bowling Tournament" to promote communication among employees. 62 employees, including those working at the bases, participated in the event.

The tournament consisted of three events: "Room-to-room competition" in which participants competed based on the total score of each room, "Lane-to-Lane competition" in which participants competed based on the total score of two adjacent lanes, and "Individual competition". On the day of the event, the teams worked together in a friendly atmosphere, cheering on each other and their friends as they competed enthusiastically.

At the reception, in addition to the announcement of the results, new employees had time to introduce themselves and deepen exchanges. For individual prizes, expatriates from the Steel Raw Materials Division working at Beijing JFE Shoji, Australia JFE Shoji, India JFE Shoji, Vietnam JFE Shoji, Philippines JFE Shoji, Brazil JFE Shoji, and Taipei Branch were sponsored with local specialty products. In addition, prizes for best score for men and women, most strikes, flying, garter, and booby-maker awards were available for all to enjoy regardless of score, and the venue was filled with excitement from start to finish.

Teams were presented with sponsorship prizes and "Nozaki's Corned Beef," a popular product of Kawasho Foods, which drew cheers from the audience. When the results were announced, the first metal room was the winner, and they were delighted with their victory. On the other hand, the Mineral & Mineral Resources Office, which came in last place, was determined to serve as the secretary for the next year's competition, and there were scenes of frustration.

This competition provided a valuable opportunity to deepen exchanges across age groups and departments.
