On May 17, a record 60 members of the JFE team participated in the "Korea Steel Marathon" held at the Misari Racecourse in the suburbs of Seoul.
The event, organized by the Korea Iron and Steel Association, was held for the 18th time this year. Although the event was suspended for three years due to the Corona disaster, it was resumed the year before last. This year, the number of participants was higher than last year, and many participants were accompanied by their children.
The marathon course consisted of 5 km and 10 km sections, and participants chose the course of their choice to reach the goal.

Mr. Oba of the Busan Branch of JFE Shoji Korea said, "I have participated in this event every year since I have been stationed in Korea, and this year was the biggest one since the Corona disaster. It is a meaningful time for us because we can get to know our customers better in a different setting than usual." He said.

Not only was the physical exercise in the pleasant weather invigorating, but it also provided an opportunity for participants to get to know each other and helped build relationships. We are already looking forward to next year's event.
