Nagoya/Daiichi Automotive Steel Office received a special award from Toyota Motor Corporation!
Nagoya/Daiichi Automotive Steel Products Office received a special award for the first time in February at the 2025 TOYOTA Suppliers Convention organized by Toyota Motor Corporation ("Toyota Motor").
This activity is a collaboration between Toyota Motor Corporation's procurement division and Toyota Tsusho, Canox, Nittetsu Bussan, Metal One, and Sumitomo Corporation Global Metals, with the major theme of "Strengthening the Steel Products Supply Chain: Six Trading Companies' Collaborative Activities" and aims to create competitiveness in the steel products supply chain and solve social issues.
The steel supply chain is divided into four themes: "steel logistics," "TPS for the entire supply chain (*1)," "steel SSA (*2)," and "BCP for processing sites in the shearing industry (*3).
MOL focused on solving two issues within the "steel logistics" theme: "elimination of work outside the driver contract" and "elimination of truck waiting time.
These activities are in line with Toyota Motor Corporation's "The Future is Ours for the Taking." This award was given to the JFE Shoji Group because of its three goals of "working together with new colleagues" and "for the benefit of someone other than ourselves.
The JFE Shoji Group will continue to pursue further improvement and innovation and strive to realize a sustainable society.

(*2) SSA: Smart Standard Activity
