Every year, JFE Shoji Trade Corporation provides training for new employees prior to their assignment. This training is held for about a month from April 1, when the initiation ceremony is held, and the company is filled with the fresh smiles and cheerful greetings of new employees.

During the training period, new employees learned the basics of business manners and other skills required of working adults. They also deepen their learning through practical training such as roundtable discussions with senior employees and sales simulations. The roundtable discussions provided a valuable opportunity to deepen their career perspectives by listening to senior employees working in various departments and at overseas group companies talk about their actual work.

They also visited JFE Steel East Japan Works (Chiba area) to learn firsthand how "steel," which they handle as trading company employees, is produced and how the manufacturing process is carried out until it takes shape as a final product.

After completing the month-long training period, the new employees will start their work today. We sincerely support them and hope that they will bring a breath of fresh air to their respective departments and achieve further growth. We look forward to seeing their activities as they face new challenges!
