On December 1, 2024, a total of 12 people, including seven volunteer employees of the Osaka Branch and five family members, participated in "SANTA PARADE OSAKA" held at Osaka Castle Park. The event is a charity event in which participants dress up as Santa Claus and parade through Osaka Castle Park, and a portion of the participation fee is used to donate Christmas presents to children battling illnesses.

Since the first "Osaka Great Santa Run," the predecessor of "SANTA PARADE OSAKA" was held in December 2009, the event has been held annually, with this year marking the 16th time.
This year, approximately 4,000 people dressed in red and white Santa Claus costumes will gather at Osaka Castle Park. They paraded along a 4-kilometer course.
After reaching the goal, they wrote message cards to children battling illnesses and decorated them as Christmas tree ornaments. The cards will be delivered to 14 medical institutions in the Kansai area at a later date, along with gifts.

Participants commented that they enjoyed the event and were glad to be able to contribute to society, that they would definitely like to participate again next year, and that they were glad to be able to participate with their families.

The JFE Shoji Group will continue to actively participate in charity events and other social contribution activities to help realize a sustainable society.
