J Tekken participated in the 10th Kigyo Festival!

On October 26, JFE Shoji Trade Steel & Construction Materials (hereinafter referred to as "J Tekken") participated in the 10th Kigyo Matsuri Festival organized by its business partner, Marukyu Kozai Co.

Marukyu Kozai is a leading steel distributor in the Chikugo area, headquartered in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and sponsors this festival as part of its contribution to the local community. This year was the first time in five years that the festival was held due to the effects of the new coronavirus, and J Tekken, led by President Iino, and 10 employees participated, setting up a "pork kimchi" stall.

The festival began at 10:00 a.m. Several companies set up stalls, and several hundred people, including family members and acquaintances of employees, business partners, and local residents, came to the festival. The stage was filled with excitement as the well-known local TV comedy duo "Blue River" performed a comic dialogue, the popular radio band "The Pinchies ♡" performed live, and the light music club of Nanchiku High School gave a performance. Audience-participation corners included a weight-guessing quiz, a cola-drinking contest, and a raffle with gorgeous prizes.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Waitori, president of Marukyu Kozai, expressed his gratitude to all the visitors, and the event ended with a rousing "Enjoy" call by all the participants.

J Tekken's pork kimchi was also well received!
