On October 27, Kawasho Foods, a member of the JFE Shoji Group, opened a stall at the "JFE Chiba Festival" held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City. This event is organized by JFE Steel/East Japan Steel Works for the purpose of coexistence with the local community, and is an annual autumn event, now in its 44th year. Kawasho Foods has participated in the event every year since 1998, the year before Nozaki Sangyo and Kawatetsu Shoji merged in 1999, with the exception of the Corona Disaster (2020 and 2021), making this the 25th time we have participated.

On the day of the event, a variety of products were offered at special prices, including Nozaki's corned beef, pork luncheon meat, salad chicken, honey, and more. The popular corned beef as well as the pork luncheon meat were unexpectedly well received and sold out quickly. Visitors expressed their delight at being able to purchase their favorite corned beef at a reasonable price, and learned for the first time that there are many different types of corned beef.

Kawasho Foods values its ties with the local community and will continue to actively participate in this event as an opportunity for the JFE Group to express its gratitude to the people of the community who are always there for us.
