On July 24, the Philippine Red Cross's "Blood Donor Month Recognition Day" ceremony was held at a shopping mall in Binyan City, Laguna, with Ms. Christina L. Cabigan and Ms. Cherry Beth Palace from JFE Shoji Steel Philippines, Inc. JSSP received a National Award Certificate and a Diploma of Service Award for donating a total of 26 bags of blood in 2023. This is the second time JSSP has received this award, the first being last year.

On July 31, 81 employees participated in the annual drug testing. The purpose of this activity is to detect and prevent drug abuse among employees in accordance with the Comprehensive Drug Law of the Republic of the Philippines Act No. 9165. All participating employees showed negative results, confirming that JSSP remains a drug-free workplace, indicating that JSSP employees are in compliance with company regulations.
