JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation will enter the solvent recycling business in Thailand!

JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation has established UTJ Glean Solutions (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. ("UTJ") as a joint venture with Union Petrochemical Public Co.,Ltd. of Thailand (UKEM) and Toyota Chemical Industry Co. The new plant will be located in the Gateway City Industrial Estate in Thailand, and the solvent recycling business will be launched with a target date of November 2025.

 

Thailand is promoting the "Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economic Model" as a national strategy, and awareness of recycling in the industrial sector is increasing. UTJ recovers and refines waste solvents to provide high-quality, low-cost recycled solvents. Through this initiative, JFE Shoji Electronics aims to increase the utilization rate of recycled solvents in Thailand, reduce CO2 emissions by 10,000 tons per year, and realize a circular economy.

 

JFE Shoji Electronics will continue to contribute to local communities and the environment by providing innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
