Our Beach Rugby Club participated in the "Beach Rugby Japan Tour 2024 Kanto Tournament" organized by the Japan Beach Rugby Association. The tournament was held at Shonan Bellmare Hiratsuka Beach Park in Kanagawa Prefecture for two days from July 27 to 28.

A total of 96 teams from all over the Kanto region gathered to compete in a tournament format. From our company, two teams, "Save the PINK" led by Mr. Mizuto of the First Sheet Metal Department and "Billet Slabs" led by Mr. Sasaki of the Automotive Steel Department, entered the tournament, and a total of 33 players participated. Both teams made it through the first round with flying colors, but regrettably lost in the second round. The result was a disappointing one.

The manager of the "Billet Slabs" team, Mr. Shibata of the Stainless Steel and Special Steel Plates Department, expressed his enthusiasm for the future, saying, "We will use the experience gained in this tournament in the next round to become an even stronger team.
