On June 6, 2024, 42 employees of JFE Shoji Group participated in the "Chiyoda City Simultaneous Cleanup" activity promoted by Chiyoda City.
They were divided into six teams and spent about 40 minutes cleaning up the area around the Shin-Otemachi Building. The teams were able to collect a large amount of trash, mainly cigarette butts and empty cans, but also bath towels, umbrellas, etc. After the cleaning, the teams cleaned up the area around the Shin-Otemachi Building.
After the cleanup, participants, including board members, enjoyed socializing with each other in the lounge on the 9th floor of the Shin-Otemachi Building.
Participants commented that it was refreshing to clean up in the morning, that they were glad to be able to participate in social contribution activities, and that it was a valuable and beneficial opportunity to communicate with people from other departments through the cleaning activities.
The JFE Shoji Group will continue to promote various social contribution activities, including educational activities related to environmental beautification, as a group.
