JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation, a JFE Shoji Group company, in collaboration with JFE Engineering Corporation, has developed a "video and audio system" for JFE Engineering Corporation's offshore wind power operation and maintenance integrated management system (ASUNAG), and has linked it to the system. Offshore wind power generation is attracting attention as a renewable energy source, but improving efficiency in operation and maintenance is an issue. In particular, there are cost issues due to the need to travel by ship to the site for inspections, and the uncertainty of reaching the wind turbines depending on climate and sea surface conditions. To solve this issue, we introduced video and audio linkage into our integrated management system for offshore wind power generation (ASUNAG).

The three specific benefits are as follows

(1) Faster initial response: When an abnormality occurs at a wind turbine, the local situation can be remotely checked with video and audio, which speeds up the initial response.

(2) Reduced repair costs: The ability to check the status of the site with video and audio allows you to identify component deterioration and malfunctions in advance, reducing time loss.

(3) Reduction of power generation loss: Power generation loss can be reduced through early detection of sudden breakdowns.
