Our History
Kawatetsu Shoji" was established in 1954 through the merger of Shinjo Kozai, Aoyama Special Steel, and Maya Kogyo, and "NK Trading" was created through the merger and renaming of Fuji Shoji with Koukan Shoji and Soji Ito Shoten, the former being the origin of JFE Shoji Trade.
History of JFE Shoji Trade
On October 1, 2004, JFE Shoji Holdings, Inc. was established as a holding company through the merger and reorganization of Kawatetsu Shoji Trade Corporation and NK Trading Corporation in order to assume the core functions of product sales and global procurement for the JFE Group. Ltd., Kawasho Foods Corporation, Kawasho Semiconductor Corporation, and Kawasho Real Estate Corporation.
In April 2012, the JFE Shoji Group reviewed its holding structure and shifted to a management structure with JFE Shoji Trade as the core, in order to realize a simpler structure for prompt and functional group management.
In October 2012, Kawasho Real Estate became an operating company of JFE Holdings, Inc. for the purpose of utilizing the marketing-related functions of the JFE Group as a whole and strengthening and streamlining the entire supply chain of the JFE Group's steel business.
