We handle steel products in various forms

We sell steel products produced by domestic and overseas steel companies, including JFE Steel, one of the world's leading steel manufacturers, to customers in a variety of industries. These products include "thick plates" for buildings and bridges, "thin plates" for automobiles, home appliances, cans, etc., "stainless steel" for daily commodities, "steel pipes" indispensable in the energy field such as OCTG and line pipes, "H-beams" and "round bars" for construction and civil engineering, which are essential for infrastructure development, and many more.

Capability to support the industry's top-class supply chain

As the core trading company of the JFE Group, we have established a distribution system closely linked to the product development and production status of JFE Steel, while at the same time, we have developed steel processing centers in Japan and overseas to provide high value-added products to customers in various industries. For example, we have established "supply chain management" to process and sell products according to customer needs. For example, in the automotive industry, we have a blanking business that processes steel sheets for the bodies of different car models, and in the shipbuilding industry, we have an integrated processing business for hull blocks.

Importing steel raw materials from all over the world Scheme capabilities

We import iron ore and coal, the raw materials for steel, from producing countries around the world and promote stable supply to manufacturers around the world. In addition to expanding transactions with blast furnace companies in China, Korea, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and other parts of the world, we are also actively participating in resource development projects and supplying these resources to JFE Steel and other steelmakers and electric power companies in Japan and overseas.

Stable supply in non-ferrous field from decentralization of suppliers

In the nonferrous metals field, in our ferroalloy business, which is highly dependent on China, we are expanding imports from around the world to diversify our procurement sources, and at the same time, we are participating in the ferrosilicon manufacturing business in Malaysia to provide a stable supply to JFE Steel and electric furnace makers. Furthermore, we are expanding foreign trade in scrap iron and reduced iron, which are recycled resources, as well as sales of renewable energy such as biomass fuel.

Wide range of processing in the ferrous and metallurgical fields

We procure and supply production facilities and the materials and equipment to operate those facilities to plants around the world. With the strength of our field-based sales system, we handle a wide range of equipment for steel mills, from upstream processes for iron and steel making facilities to rolling, surface treatment, and shipping equipment, as well as machinery and parts for their maintenance and processed metal products. Our detailed coordination capabilities, based on a firm grasp of customer needs, extend not only in Japan but also throughout the world.
