Corporate History

History of JFE Shoji Trade

Shinjo Steel, Aoyama Specialty Steel, and Maya Corporation were merged to form "Kawatie Shoji" in 1954, which was later merged with Fuji Shoji, Stainless Pipe Shoji, and Soji Ito, and then renamed "NKK Commercial Trade". JFE Shoji's origins.

History of JFE Shoji Trade

On October 1, 2004, with the core competence to promote JFE Shoji Group's products sales and global distribution, the JFE Shoji Group was formed through the merger of Kawarthi Shoji Trade Corporation and NKK Commercial Trade Corporation into JFE Shoji Holdings, Inc. JFE Shoji Group was established in April 2012.

In April 2012, the group management system was adjusted to make it more efficient and effective by implementing an even more streamlined structure, and a new management structure was established with JFE Shoji as the core company.

In addition, from October 2012, JFE Shoji Trade was formed as a subsidiary of JFE Holding, with the aim of strengthening and increasing the efficiency of the JFE Group's operations and the JFE Group's Stainless steel business supply and marketing network.
